You are looking at a very well kept 1976 Corvette L-82, 4 speed car that Im selling for an older gentleman that has owned the car since 1989. He has always kept the car in the garage and very well maintained.
Paint is in good driver quality condition. Code 13 Silver in which only 6034 were this color out of over 46000 produced in 1976. The interior is beautiful Code 712 Firethorn in very nice condition other than a scuff on the passenger side bun(see detailed pics) New seat back covers are included in the auction, no bun covers, This car has excellent lines and gaps, doors line up very nice. There is a place of concern which is on the rear tail section which has some warping and cracks as these cars are known to do, nothing serious(see detailed pics). The frame on this car is perfect, no rust ever or repairs. The keyholes and end-caps are perfect. The whole underneath of this car is very clean for the year. Not a winter driver always stored in a heated garage. Wheels are in excellent condition and the tires are newer with 90% of tread life left.
Now to the engine in the car which is not the original engine, BUT the original L-82 block, pistons and crank are included in the auction and appear able to be rebuilt.(see detailed pics). The present engine is a strong running 350 date coded 39 700 10. Holley 650 carb, Street Dominator intake, headers and new exhaust all welded, no clamps. The car sounds excellent with a gentle lope. No smoke or leaks. This car has its original M-20 wide range 4 speed in which only 2088 were made in 1976, shifts perfectly.
This car came equipped with Power steering,4 wheel disc Power brakes, A/C(needs converted), tilt/telescopic wheel, power windows, rear defrogger, map light, tinted glass, posi traction, full instrumentation and aluminum wheels. L-82 Special 350-4bbl V-8 engine.
