01- 1968 CHEVROLET CAMAR0 SS CONVERTIBLE RECREATION - Super Deal@$21,500.You are looking at 1968 Camaro SS convertible recreation. A very nice older restoration that’s still shows very well. The outer body is solid as are the original floor pans and trunk pan. The paint is an older lacquer job that is not cracking and shines very good done in Marina Blue with white stripes. Nice straight car with good gaps and lines. Bumpers are original and show some age but are nice driver quality.
The white convertible top is new and works as it should. This car has been owned by the present owner for over 20 years and has always been kept in a heated garage.
Mileage reads 1178, which is 101178. Present owner has clear Ohio title that when he bought the car the mileage was actual at 99000.
The engine is a non-numbers matching 1969 350/300hsp that was rebuilt about 3000 miles ago. The car was originally equipped with a Powerglide transmission and now has a Turbo 350. Original 10 bolt non posi rear end.
The interior is in good condition The dash pad does have a crack on the top and a hole near where the gear shift meets the front of the pad. The front bucket seats are nice with one small split in the drivers side outer-side bun. The backseat is original and in nice driver condition.
The tires are newer radials on Rally wheels.
This car runs and drives very nice with no known issues and has always been kept in top running condition.
